Malaika too went for a laid-back look but added heels for some oomp. I like her mismatched bag..Karishma was fresh-faced and dressed down in jeans/cardigan and flip-flops for the private screening.
Shilpa kept it casual in a peach-colored top, movie star hair and cropped skinnies. Hmm, the aviators don't really look good on her which is weird since aviators pretty much look good on everyone..Not sure if I like the blue color on that Balenciaga..

I look awful in aviators, too! Love Shilpa's blouse but hating the bag, looks cheap and nasty.
ReplyDeleteMalaika's checked shirt is quite cute but those leggings and shoes? Eek. Not good. xxx
out of all karizma is luking much better in da cardigan and capri...
ReplyDeleteI like them all. It is just a movie screening. A day to do their own thing. I shall let them be :P
ReplyDeleteLove Malaika's the best - from her hair to her shirt.
ReplyDeleteI realise there's a lot of fond sentiment for Karisma, but this is an outfit I'd wear to go and buy potatoes, not wear to a screening.
Shilpa - like her top, but I seriously think we should send a petition to her agent telling him to get her an accessories stylist.
I think Malaika looks adorable...lvoe the shirt, hair, and bag! And agree about Shilpa-that doesn't even look like her.
ReplyDeleteI love this post. This describes and justifies that dressing down is normal and not a crime. Casual chic is still chic. We all know it's not practical to always glam up. Imagine my life. I'm a grad student who researches, works her ass off to earn. Would you expect me to strut in pumps everyday? I hate it when sometimes fashion bloggers get biased about body image (skinny is good. 'healthy' is fat), shoes (flip flops are flop) and of course clothes (jeans and t shirt is the most pratical and comfortable outfit. We can spruce it up in a 100 ways but come on, its okay).
ReplyDeleteShit, why did I lecture?
