Freida at Miral premiere at TIFF

Who: Freida Pinto and Dev Patel

What a glorious shade of red!! And Ms Pinto rocks this color like nobody's business!! I am pretty sure that's Chanel Fall 2010 couture but am too lazy to check..
This dress is near-perfect - how cute is the saree like effect with the sash?!!? And I love the minimalist silhouette. But what I don't get is the awkward length of the dress..It looks like Freida hitched her saree up..
Love her messy updo and of course, her yummy arm-candy:-)

What do you guys think? maybe different kind of shoes??

  3. Oh no no no no no. No. This dress is just... wrong. It's best suited to a Scottish matron. The length is a crime against seeing. The sash is more highland than Hindu!
I loathe this dress!!! The colour is gorgeous on her but ohgodnoooo, not the dress.

The Dev however... damn... I adore him. 'white' cinema is doing itself a grave injustice by not using this young man's natural, from the bone marrow acting genius.

  4. I love it, too! Such a divine colour and shape and the drapey shoulder piece is simply stunning....and Dev Patel, too. What a treat. xxx

  5. Gorgeous shade and draping but I think it was meant for a taller person and would be better if it was hemmed a few inches.

  6. Beautiful colour and draping, but I agree - think it would look better on an older woman. She still looks divine though.

As for Dev Patel - Yargle! Sweet guy, but sorry - still looks like a 15 year old boy! xx

  7. @Dusk: now that u mention it, the sash is more highland than saree!! and hollywood values the color of the skin more than talent:-)

  9. I love the colour...deep wine scarlet...sexy. Like the dress bust up but not below it. So I guess if they made a top out of the top, I'd probably buy it! :P
