most of us cannot carry ruffled shirts...kinda makes us look like a child...whereas some people can get away with anything :)
usually i hate such puffs in sleves but I must day sush is carrying it off pretty well. I like the belt & shoes matching there. Not to mention the jeans....omg..cut is to die for.
I love ruffled shirts!! So very dramatic. I have a few, in emerald, amethyst, black...all with theatrical sleeves! I feel like such a pirate...ahoy me hearty!
Sushmita looks absolutely great and very Amazonian but...come on... she could be going to the supermarket. I would have preferred dramatic tuxedo pants, at least for the Miss Universe event. I'm not a fan of ubiquitous jeans. Time and place people.
Why isn't she as renowned as [my gorgeous] Aishwarya? She looks like such a strong, intelligent, capable woman. I haven't seen her act though.
one has to be super thin to wear puffs...God! she has lost weight!

Sush looks amazing in both pics..I certainly cant wear ruffles - I look like one those animals u see on Discovery channel - all puffed up for a fight:-)
@Dusk: I agree - She should have dressed for the awards too!! abt Sushmita - I think two things worked against her (i) she never had a really big hit (ii) she is very outspoken, not good at PR.. When she had a hit in "Main hoon na", she went around saying that she didn't have anything to do in the movie but just look hot.

I like how her Jeans fit her so well :o) I like the classic white shirt and Dark Denim combo but wldn't it be nice to her dress differently? But then who are we to tell her how to dress. She is fabulous the way she is!
Sushmita used to be so fashion forward at a time. I guess her career related insecurities are dampening her style quotient. On the other hand, she does look lovely in both the pictures, style rut and all!

...but was that true?? Her honesty should be applauded!...but actors get in trouble for saying such things. After all, they do get paid ridiculous amounts of money to pretend to be someone else.
Honesty is not the best policy when you make a living, living a lie.
