Fun and flirty floral Prints were big on runways for Spring/Summer 2010. Few things to keep in mind while wearing florals:
1) Make sure the print doesn't overwhelm you. They should be in proportion to your frame - smaller prints on smaller frames, larger florals on larger frames.
2) If you are going for a head-to-toe floral, choose one color from the pattern for your accessories and keep ur shoes/bag in that solid color.
3)If mixing floral pattern with another floral pattern, keep both of them in the same color family. Do not mix florals with stripes/plaid unless you are SJP, Olsens or Lady Gaga:-)
4) If you are doing one piece in floral, then again pick one color from the pattern and wear the top/bottom in that color.
Floral is a girly-girl print and if you are not a girly person, you can tone it down with boyfriend blazer or add some toughness with some fierce shoes or leather jacket/studded vest or fingerless gloves..
