Events: Burberry bash - Part 1

Who: Sushmita Sen, Preity Zinta

Sushmita wore a DKNY jersey dress to the event and Preity went with a Burberry military jacket that she paired with a LBD and Chanel bag. Preity looks polished and chic in that outfit. Have I told you how much I adore her??
I know you guys heart Sush but can I dare to say she looks a little bland..

Who: Malaika Arora Khan, Nandita Mahtani, Natasha Poonawala

Nandita scores in her sequins and leather one-shoulder dress. I love the draping and the mix of these two contrasting fabrics.
Natasha wore a colorblock Herver Leger bandage dress with Bottega Veneta clutch - two of the most commonly owned items in Bollywood today:-)
Malaika's outfit is also divine but she got her accessories wrong. I can live with the cage booties but the golden jeweled clutch is too much of a clash...

Who: Ayesha Takia Azmi, Laila Khan, Lisa Haydon

Loving Ayesha's bold red lips!! She looks cute in her ruffle top and skinnies.
Laila teamed a black corset with satin pants and some bold jewelery. Not sure why everyone is into orange hair nowadays? Ditch the tacky purse and we are talking..
Ignore Lisa's awkward pose. I have new respect for her - She scored a Burberry Porsum dress for the event!!

Dayum, she is sooo cute - like an adorable puppy..One of the few instance where I am ok with bare midriffs. Cute print on the jacket..

Just yesterday, I liked Malaika in black tights (different top) and this same bag but not today. Her outfit is chic but the accessories are not working here...

India International Jewellery Week - Day five

Who: (L) Sonakshi Sinha, (R) Ayesha Takia

Ok, I get it that its a jewelery show and clothes are not the focus but how could they make these two pretty girls wear such atrocious clothes?? Both are wearing outfits from Archana Kochhar. This begs the question who the hell buys clothes from her and how come the designer has not filed for bankruptcy yet!!!

Who: Giselle Monteiro

I love her gorgeous, soft curls. The baby blue gown is decent. I think they have wrapped a necklace around her waist..hmmm, not a bad idea..

Who: Mugdha Godse

Love how softly this luxurious looking gown drapes and fall. Could have been a winner except for the fungal growth near the waist..Mugdha looks nice in coral makeup..

Grey Skinnies

Looks like the Aashayein premiere had a dress code since both, Ayesha and Jacquelin, turned up in Grey skinnies with Black jackets. And how different they look! Ayesha looks sweet and chic whereas Jacqeline in her boxy jacket and heart-shaped purse looks skanky. And isn't she a little old for pigtails??

Bare midriffs - First, Sonam at Aisha screening and now Ayesha, is the 80's fashion trend back? I am going to be proudly unfashionable!!

Pastel Yellow

How divine is this yellow? Isnt it perfect for a summer dress? They both look very stylish in their outfits. Farah teamed her yellow gown with brown-gold accessories whereas Kangana teamed it up with white shoes/handbag and lovely pearls.

Are they back in fashion? Fashion is really going green recycling so many trends..You can dress them up like Farah or dress them down like Rani. Either way, this is one trend I am ready to embrace:-)

Jumpsuits are tricky to wear since you dont want look as if you going to sleep or collecting garbage!! The guest's jumpsuit with a draped-top, cinched waist and tapered leg looks unfussy and chic - perfect for an afternoon lunch. Love her orange clutch and grey pumps.
Neha went for a laid-back look for her off-duty hours. No makeup but she glammed up with gold jewelery. love her stacked bangles..

Looks like Sonam has a thing for Military jackets - this time she wears a black sleeveless vest with black capris. She looks trendy and fresh - love her soft pink makeup and her causal, wavy hair. The relaxed vibe really compliments the outfit..

On a shopping note, I saw a similar vest at Express on sale.

Nice dress. Nice shoes. Totally dig her mismatched bangles although I would have preferred them both on the same arm..Somehow the pieces don't add up to a great look..

For once, Barbara gets it right in a light as air white dress worn with really cute espadrilles. Perfect look for summer..Then she goes and wears a dowdy floral dress...

The print of this Maxi-dress reminds me on the Indian festival of Holi:-) Nice to see her in something other that tights..Cute and adorable but the dress would have looked better without the sleeves - maybe spaghetti straps??

That is one high wattage, hot-night-out look and she really does justice to the bodycon dress!! I wish her hair was pulled back so that we could see the neckline... I wonder how many assistants were needed to squeeze her into it..maybe they spray-painted it on her:-)

This could have been a perfect dress for summer - flirty frock and lots of skin, if you can look past the jarring black belt..Her hair and makeup is flawless and combined with the girly dress, gives her a very doll-like appearance. Dont like the shoes...now, lets go back to staring at her belt - maybe our collective powers will make it go away:p

We are seeing lots of white saris this summer - this one is with silver embroidery paired with an attractively embellished blouse... Hair is looking good and Chitrangada is glowing as usual..

I don't understand Ayesha's obsession with cowl necks and tights. This isn't her best look. Since she is busty, this outfit gives her an unflattering V-shape. I think she she should go for well-fitted tops and balance her top half with either a-line skirts/bootcut jeans or wear an empire-waist dress..what do u guys think?
