I am completely smitten by the aqua blue color (first row) that the designers has used. Its so perfect for Summer/Spring, no? Reminds me of Prabal Gurung S/S11.

Ashima-Leena's collection was a journey “back to the roots” and was inspired by "tribes from all over the world, mostly central Asia,” said Ashima. I don't see any "tribal influence" other than the head gear/beads which looks so forced, silly and out of place! An okay collection with nothing (besides the aqua blue color) to make my heart race.

Who do I see wearing this collection? I would love to see all celebs sporting this hairstyle:P

Wills India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010 - Ashima and Leena Singh

Ashima and Leena Singh's collection had a vintage feel to it. It looked as if the outfits were made of old faded, painted canvas - could be becoz of the colors. The colors were mainly in the rust/sienna family. Some of the dresses had bejeweled necklines and they used a lot of turquoise in their accessories. Nothing that really stood out - I just liked the vibe of the collection..
