Lakme Fashion Week, Winter Festive 2010 - Swapnil Shinde

Swapnil's collection "Dancer in the dark" was a fusion of 17th and 18th century styles of Europe and Indian lavni dancers of Maharashtra. His collection had two very distinct look. The first one was mainly in black/greys and the second one was in ivory white with a splattered paint effect. The outfits consisted of flouncy skirts with cinched waist line, draped sari style dresses, and evening gowns . Swapnil worked with chiffon, satin, Lycra, net, velvet, faux leather and exclusive printed chiffons.
I liked his white dresses with splatted paint effect best..
